BRANDI BECHARD, FOUNDER & CO-OWNER

Brandi is a life-long gardener, horticulture instructor, and curious pupil of the natural world. Having spent 15+ years learning and working across Canada in the fields of organic farming and conservation, she brings a breadth of experience and perspective to her work. Currently, Brandi teaches about plants and insects at a local college during the school year. For Brandi, Ground Culture is a passion project where she gets to share her gardening expertise through workshops, consultations, designs, and community projects.

VANESSA BRESCACIN, CO-OWNER

Vanessa is a seasoned grower who loves tending to, experimenting with, and feeding her family from her urban foodscape. With a diverse background in education, organic farming, and permaculture, she fuses the scientific + technical elements of growing food with the wondrous + magical to create an unforgettable gardening experience for anyone she works with. Vanessa is a passionate garden educator and the lead creator of many of our learning-based offerings including our Garden Guide e-book and workbook.
